Assistant Professor (critical criminology/law and society/political sociology), University of Dayton:

THE UNIVERSITY OF DAYTON  Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in sociology. We are seeking a candidate who has completed all coursework and data collection for a Ph.D. in Sociology at the time of application. Candidates must be able to articulate a research agenda that demonstrates a commitment to social justice. The department seeks a colleague who has a research focus, and ability to teach in one or more of the following areas: critical criminology, or law and society, or political sociology. The successful candidate must have an interest in working with interdisciplinary collaborations of the department as they will contribute to UD’s Common Academic Program (cf. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhmesfx77kY).
