Assistant Professor, University of Memphis

The Sociology Department at the University of Memphis invites applications for a tenure track faculty position to be filled at the Assistant Professor rank.  Employment begins August 2018. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Sociology no later than August 2018. Areas of specialization are open, but the ability to teach core sociology courses in social theory or contribute to departmental expertise in social inequality will be considered a plus.
