The University of Washington Department of Sociology invites applications for a permanent full-time tenure track Assistant Professor position with a specialization in stratification/social inequality, health, or migration/immigration, to begin September 2018. Researchers who can contribute to training students in advanced demographic methods and whose research interests complement other areas of departmental and university strength are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants should have the PhD or foreign equivalent by the start of the appointment, and will be expected to teach core graduate and undergraduate courses, conduct independent research, and engage in service activities.
