The Sociology Department at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for an Appointment Stream colleague at the rank of Associate or Full Teaching Professor, beginning in Fall 2024. Whereas teaching specialization is open, the successful applicant will assume the significant administrative role of Director of Undergraduate Studies. As Director of Undergraduate Studies, the professor will guide the undergraduate program (including strategic and tactical program management, mentorship for teaching faculty and teaching assistants, and participation in hiring and renewal processes).
